Psalm 119:142 and 160 say, “Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is truth…. The entirety of your word is truth, and everyone of your righteous judgments endures forever.” Have you ever noticed that all the latest discoveries of archaeology, physics, genetics, or any other scientific field never contradict the Bible? Think about that… What this means is that God’s Word never needs updating. It is always current, always accurate, always true, and therefore ought to always be read regularly. The words of the Creator are always greater than the creation itself. Both come from him, but his words describe what he made, including us.
