Psalm 119:98-100 says, “You, through your commandments, make we wiser than my enemies. I have more understanding that all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep your precepts.” Here we see what God’s Word does for us: makes us wiser than our enemies, our teachers and the ancients, who were the octogenarians (80+ year-olds). We can attain this by spending time with God who is older and wiser than everyone put together. We also see the progression of reading/knowing God’s commandments to meditating on them to keeping them. The deeper we go, the more wisdom we acquire. Let’s go for all of what God has for all us.
