John 4:29 says, “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” This was the statement made by the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well after talking with Jesus. As Creator he knew this woman’s history like he knows ours. He declared his true identity in v. 26. So the woman runs to her village and asks the men if Jesus could be the Messiah? As a 5-time married woman and now living with a man not her husband, she returned to the village genuinely excited. Her new demeanor caught the town’s attention. So did her simplicity: “Come, see a Man…” Do people see a difference in us? Do we make an invitation to check out Jesus simple for others?
