Psalm 118:9-9 says, “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.” If there is one message of the Bible, this is it! We trust God for everything he gives us beginning with salvation. Even leaders (princes) should not be trusted because their power tends to corrupt them more. Trust works in a relationship. We trust our cars to the mechanic, our insurance to an agent, our safety to the police, etc. In all these and similar relationships, we must trust the Lord even more.
