Psalm 104:29b-30 says, “You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. You send forth your Spirit , they are created and you renew the face of the earth.” These verses clearly show what death is and that we are made of dust. How’s your self esteem after that?! It also shows we are given life by God’s Spirit. In parallel fashion it suggests that God’s Spirit must bring us salvation, a restored relationship with him. Dust can’t do that on its own.
