John 14:21-23 says, “He who has my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, ‘Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us?’ Jesus answered…’If anyone loves me, he will keep my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.'” Still talking at the Last Passover meal, Jesus told the disciples earlier about the Spirit, the “Helper.” After his crucifixion, resurrection and ascension he says he’ll “manifest” himself to believers, meaning to exhibit himself to us, making us his exhibits. Jesus and the Father make their home with us. Father, Son and Helper never leave us! Let’s love God back by keeping his word today.
